Road Trip 08/28/2006

We switched our route from I-80 to I-70 that took us a little south. Since the drive to Bryce Canyon or Zion Canyon will take more than 5 hours from Salt Lake City that makes it impossible for us to arrive next hotel before sunset therefore we decided to visit Arch National Park that will take only 1-2 hours instead. Although we didn't find the entrance to Arch National Park, we did meet the great scene of canyon. There us a small town we happened to pass, MOAB, was full of tourists and all kinds of musical events. We found highway 128 from map and decided to take the route to go along Colorado River to Grand Junction, our next stop. Highway 128 must be one of the most scenic highways in US. You could find almost all kinds of beauty of canyon in your way: white or red, grand or delicate.
