Hays is a city with around 25000 population between Denver and Kansas City. You'll be suprised to find the small city has many fine food, especially German cuisines, and antique stores. They have a city college that registered by about 6000 on-campus students and another 6000 on-line students.
We dined at a place called Corner Garden Restaurant. The hostess told us that her father served in army between World War I and II and many of her families are serving in army currently. We loved the cosy atmospher and the desert of the home restaurant very much.
